Christ the meaning of our life.

Christ has been made for us the way.............(Testament )
The way, learned from Francis, is Christ in His choice
of poverty.
Clare often repeats it: 'The Son of God never wanted 
to abandon poverty while He lived in this world.
Clare had seen Francis and his brothers live this 
poverty of Christ. She wants to do likewise. How ?
By fixing her gaze continually on the One who,
poor, was laid in a manger;
poor, lived in this world;
naked, remained suspended on the cross.
Clare will follow Christ as far as that !
